Share a ticket with somebody else

Use this if you’ve bought some tickets and want to send a copy of a ticket to someone you’re attending with (e.g. you are arriving separately).

  • We’ll send the recipient a copy of one of your tickets
  • The original ticket will still be valid and under your control
  • We’ll let recipient know you still have the original ticket and include a link to this page so they can learn more
Transfer your tickets securely

Use this if you want to permanently transfer tickets to somebody else and prove to them that you no longer have a copy.

You can use it for just a few of your tickets or your entire order.

  • We’ll send a link to the recipient to accept the tickets
  • The original copies of the tickets you transfer will be cancelled
  • We’ll issue new tickets to the recipient and they’ll have complete control of them
  • We’ll let the recipient know that they have the only valid copy of the ticket

NOTE: transfers are only available for select tickets at certain times.

PLEASE NOTE: The Secure Ticket Resales feature is NOT available this year due to limitations from our payment companies. The recommended procedure for those wanting to sell your tickets is:

  • the seller and buyer agree on the price and payment method via text or email - any system that preserves the messages
  • the seller sends the tickets to the buyer through the Secure Transfer System
  • the buyer sends the funds

If the buyer does not complete payment, Tickit can cancel the incomplete transfer and return the tickets to the seller. Email help@tickit.ca if you need help.

UPDATE: Resales through the website are unavailable in 2022

Unfortunately, changes at our payment processing company mean that resales using the website to collect money are not available this year.

The recommended procedure for those wanting to sell these tickets is:

  • the seller and buyer agree on the price and payment method via text or email - any system that preserves the messages
  • the seller sends the tickets to the buyer through the Secure Transfer System
  • the buyer sends the funds

If the buyer does not complete payment, Tickit can cancel the incomplete transfer and return the tickets to the seller. Email help@tickit.ca if you need help.
